Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars

These Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars are delicious! You have to try them. I found the recipe on Pinterest, and it is easy to make. This recipe works great for fall, since it that time of the year when everyone craves pumpkin!

Here is what you'll need:

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup pumpkin puree

- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons to sprinkle on the top 
 
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350F Line an baking pan with aluminum foil, spray with cooking spray.
  2.  Melt the butter in a large bowl, about 1 minute.
  3. Wait for the butter to cool down. Add the egg, pumpkin, brown sugar, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and whisk until smooth.
  4. Add the flour and stir.
  5. Stir in 1 1/4 cups of chocolate chips.
  6. Smooth the batter down into the pan, using a spatula to flatten it.
  7. Sprinkle the top with 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips.
  8. Bake for 32 minutes.
Enjoy these delicious pumpkin bars. I froze some of mine, so they will not go bad if my family doesn't eat them quickly.
