Toffee Recipe
I cut the recipe in half so it would fit in my pan.
Here's what you'll need:
- 6 or 7 graham crackers
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 12 Tbs. Butter
- 1 cup of sliced or chopped almonds
- a pan that is at least one inch deep
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. In a saucepan mix the brown sugar and butter. Bring it to a boil.
3. Place the graham crackers in the bottom of a aluminum foil wrapped pan.
4. Pour the sugar mixture over the graham crackers.
5. Sprinkle the chopped almonds over the top.
6. Bake for 6-8 minutes, or until bubbly.
7. Cut the graham crackers into pieces after letting it cool in the pan for 4 minutes.
8. Place the pieces on cooling racks until cooled.
